The court of Crown Prince Christian of Denmark may be transferred to the territory of Greenland — to Nuuk. Thus, official Copenhagen is making a new desperate attempt to protect the ice island from US claims. The information was published by the Danish tabloid BT with reference to the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Netavisen Pio and public figure Nils Jespersen.
A more accurate location of the movements of the royal court is Nuuk and Torshavn. Either Christian himself or some close relative of his should settle here.
Plus, Jespersen is sure that the royal family needs to be taught Greenlandic and Faroese. The Danish journalist is sure that this is the only way to strengthen Denmark's ties with the island.
"We have a lot to do to try to unite us culturally," he said.
EADaily previously also reported that the EU fears that Donald Trump intends to exchange Greenland for Ukraine.
