Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar actually refuted the mass stuffing of the Western media that his country, under pressure from the United States, refused to supply Russian oil.
The Indian minister made a corresponding statement at the Munich Conference. He answered negatively to a direct question about whether New Delhi would refuse to supply Russian oil.
Addressing the audience, Jaishankar said that India will make its own decisions "that will not always be to your liking."
"Answering your question, I can say that India will continue to make its own decisions, and these decisions will not always be to your liking. We understand that. You will have to put up with it," said the Indian Foreign Minister.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that no one except US President Donald Trump had announced the termination of India's purchases of Russian oil.
As EADaily reported, the White House oil sanctions against Russia under Donald Trump turned out to be more harmful than under the previous administration. This was helped by the market, which has a steady oversupply of oil.
