Moscow does not intend to enter into legal proceedings with manufacturers of goods with the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin, unless they are offensive.
This was stated in a comment to the TASS news agency by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. According to him, the very presence of such goods testifies to the popularity of the Russian leader.
The representative of the Kremlin speculated that the sale of mugs, T-shirts and masks with portraits of Putin is one of the ways to express the feelings of people in the modern world.
Peskov assured that the presidential administration is closely monitoring the situation for possible insult to the personality of the head of state. Such cases will require drastic measures within the framework of legislation.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the president of the Central African Republic, Faustin Arcange Touadera, plans to visit Russia and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
