Russia is creating an unstoppable "Hazel son" capable of reaching London in eight minutes. It is reported by the British Daily Star.
The reason was the statement of retired Russian Colonel Viktor Barants that the development of the "son of the Hazel Tree" is underway, which will carry 8 kinetic warheads instead of 6 and will be able to penetrate fortified targets at a depth of about 30 meters.
The new rocket "Son of Hazel", which is being developed in Russia, more powerful than the existing version, which has already been used twice during the war in Ukraine, the newspaper writes. The estimated time of arrival to London is about 8 minutes.
According to Barants, the emphasis is now on improving accuracy, which expands the possibilities of application both in the Ukrainian direction and against objects in the West.
The new project is informally called the "son of Hazel", emphasizing the evolution of the concept — a bet on kinetics, speed and penetrating power without a classic nuclear warhead, the publication says.
