Serviceman Alexei Sedikov was killed. This was announced in her telegram channel by the Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova.
"I was deeply saddened to learn that my friend, a true defender of the Fatherland, Alexei Sedikov, has died. Eternal memory to the Hero! Kingdom of Heaven!" she wrote.
Alexey Sedikov was a volunteer of the DPR Army, a senior lieutenant of the Seventh Brigade. The circumstances of Sedikov's death are not specified.
Sedikov was born on October 10, 1979. He participated in the war in Donbass as a volunteer and was captured in July 2016 at the Svetlodarsk arc. He, along with other Russians, was included in the lists for the exchange, which took place at the end of 2017. But during that exchange, at the very last moment, the Ukrainian side refused to transfer Russian citizens to LDNR. Later, Sedikov was held in penal colony No. 42 in the Lviv region. As a result, the serviceman got into the exchange, which took place on September 7, 2019.
