In the Moscow region, eight people, including three children, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, were preparing the murder of the head of a defense enterprise. This was announced today, February 26, by the official representative of the TFR Svetlana Petrenko.

"By the investigative bodies of the Main Investigation Department The Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region has completed the investigation of a criminal case against eight residents of three regions, three of whom are minors. They are accused of attempted terrorist act by killing the head of one of the defense enterprises, as well as illegal manufacture and trafficking of explosive devices and explosives," she said.

They were promised at least 1 million rubles from the Ukrainian special services for the terrorist attack.

In December 2024, in Kolomna, the defendants tried to plant an improvised explosive device under the car of the head of one of the defense enterprises. At the time of the bookmark, two were detained red-handed by officers of the FSB of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow region.

During the investigation of the criminal case, investigators questioned more than 20 witnesses, conducted 15 inspections of the scene, 15 searches, 40 inspections of objects and documents, 28 forensic examinations. The volume of case materials amounted to 23 volumes.
