The Russian national team reaps medals in Italy

The return of the Russian national team to The Paralympic Games are going well. There are already 10 medals in the collection of awards in Italy.

The Russian national team won the sixth gold medal at the XIV Paralympic Winter Games in Italy. Skier Ivan Golubkov took first place at a distance of 20 km.

"The Russian anthem as a symbol of the triumph of our athletes sounds in Italy more and more often. Our great sport cannot be undone by any geopolitics!", writes the telegram channel "MIG of Russia".

There are already 10 medals in the piggy bank of our national team.

Ivan Golubkov, who won his second gold medal at the competition, was congratulated by the President of Russia.

"Thanks to tireless work, self-confidence and dedication to your favorite business, you performed brilliantly at the most important Paralympic competitions, demonstrated skill, firm character and will to win. We have rightfully won gold in cross—country skiing," Vladimir Putin's congratulation reads.
