The United States is deploying most of its long-range JASSM-ER missiles to war with Iran, withdrawing them from global stocks, Bloomberg writes today, April 4.
According to the agency, the United States will use almost its entire global stockpile of JASSM-ER (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range) missiles for operations against Iran.
It is noted that over 1,000 missiles were consumed in the first month of active operations, which exceeds the annual volume of their production, while the rest of the reserves by April 2026 was reduced to 425 units, the article says.
It is alleged that missiles are being withdrawn from arsenals in the Pacific region and the continental United States. They are being transferred to the bases of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and to the Fairford Air Base in the UK.
