Deciding on potential strikes The Russian Armed Forces have already decided on the production sites of drones for Ukraine in Europe, but its implementation remains with the Supreme Commander-in-chief, said Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee, on April 17.
"It may come to this, we cannot allow lethal weapons to go [from Europe to Ukraine] <> I think the decision was made a long time ago. The question is when it will be implemented. When the supreme deems it necessary, it will be implemented, then there will be strikes," the deputy quotes "Газета.Ru ".
According to Kolesnik, in order to neutralize the threat of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the regions of Russia, the Russian army needs to intensify attacks on critical infrastructure facilities and military facilities located in cities. In this case, the parliamentarian pointed out, Russia will be able to achieve the greatest military and political effect from the strikes.
On April 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that some European countries, amid rising losses and a worsening shortage of manpower in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, decided to increase the production and supply of drones to Kiev for strikes on Russian territory. The agency published the addresses of 21 enterprises where UAVs are manufactured.
Branches of Ukrainian and "joint" factories producing drones for strikes against Russia are located in 12 countries: Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Israel.
