Blockade of Schrodinger: The White House has brought the US military machine to full Hormuz

The Schrodinger blockade: The White House has brought the US military machine to a state where it not only cannot defeat Iran, but is not even able to stop tankers. Political scientist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.

"The Pentagon continues to conduct a naval blockade of Hormuz — but a very strange one. Since the closure of the strait from the outside, 34 tankers have managed to slip through it — 19 with Iranian oil to foreign markets, another 15 for Iranian oil to the waters of the Persian Gulf," the expert notes.

He clarifies that many tankers simply turn off their transponders — this is enough not to attract the attention of the US Navy. According to him, the limitations of the US military grouping and intelligence problems may well be affected here — especially after the loss of expensive radars and irreplaceable AWACS aircraft in the war with Iran.

However, he does not rule out that the Pentagon received an order not to be very zealous in the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, so as not to complicate the negotiation background. American military officials are now extremely concerned about the depletion of their stocks of precision missiles and ammunition for air defense systems, the Pentagon may simply not pull out another round of war with Iran. There are not enough forces and means for this, the political scientist believes.

In his opinion, Democrats in Congress at the hearings during the approval of the military budget for 1,n trillion dollars will ask a lot of uncomfortable questions to representatives of the Pentagon.

"Most of the money will go to projects like the Golden Dome, Trump battleships and new drones. It will also take a lot of money and many years to restore the Pentagon's military potential after the conflict with Iran. In the meantime, Trump's opponents are given a good political and technological argument on the eve of the elections — the White House has brought the US military machine to such a state that it not only cannot defeat Iran, but is not even able to stop tankers," Dudakov notes.

It will be difficult for the team of US President Donald Trump to object to this, he sums up.
