And the sediment remained: Zelensky did not steal the Cezanne painting from the Parma Museum — Bild

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is not involved in the theft of a painting by Paul Cezanne from the Parma Museum. It is reported by the German newspaper Bild.

Appeared in The BBC's network report that Zelensky stole a painting by Paul Cezanne is fake, the newspaper notes.

"A falsified BBC report attributes the theft of the painting to the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. In one of his video messages from the presidential office, unknown fake authors inserted a work by Paul Cezanne (1839-1906), stolen at the end of March from a museum near Parma. This gives the impression that Zelensky hung a stolen work of art in his office. The video claims that the president of Ukraine received the painting "from the mafia," Bild writes in Russian.

The newspaper claims that this story is completely made up: the BBC did not make such a report, and in the place where the Cezanne painting is in the frame, in fact, allegedly, the work of the Ukrainian artist Andrei Chebotaru hangs.

Who edited this video, the publication wonders. The answer, of course, suggests itself.

"The trail apparently leads deep into the network of pro-Russian disinformation. The material could have been made by actors close to Russian military intelligence, according to the Bild editorial office. It was distributed through the so—called matryoshka network of pro-Kremlin bots, known for regularly publishing fake content allegedly coming from major Western media,"the publication says.

According to the Italian police, the Fondazione Magnani-Rocca Museum is not far from Parma was robbed on the night of March 23. Three valuable works of art worth about 9 million euros were stolen — "Fish" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, "Odalisque on the Terrace" by Henri Matisse and "Cup and Saucer with Cherries" by Paul Cezanne. The thieves broke into the entrance gate, got into the museum, they managed to steal the paintings and escape in less than three minutes. An investigation is underway, the ANSA news agency reported.
