Drones for strikes in the Urals are launched, most likely, not from the territory of Ukraine. This opinion is shared by the Honored pilot of the Russian Federation, Major General Vladimir Popov.
So he commented, in particular, yesterday's attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Yekaterinburg, as a result of which a residential high-rise building was damaged.
Popov believes that the UAV was most likely launched from the territory of Kazakhstan. He puts this version in the first place. It is also possible that the drones were sent from neighboring Russian regions. He also does not rule out sending drones from Ukraine.
"Kiev is positioning that their drones can cover a distance of up to 1,500 kilometers. But, as experts say, the size of these drones is such that to overcome such a distance, they must only be fueled with fuel and will be able to carry a minimum of explosives. I would put this version in third place," Popov told the AIF newspaper.
As reported by EADaily, Ukrainian drones have flown to the Urals — so far this is a test, but retaliatory measures are asking for. This was stated in his telegram channel by military correspondent Alexander Kots.
