It looks like a slap in the face: the second grain ship from the "Ukrainian territories" arrived in Haifa

Ukraine and Israel were on the verge of a diplomatic conflict over grain exported from the "occupied Ukrainian territories." Barak Ravid, a journalist of the American edition of Axios and a correspondent of the Israeli 12th TV channel, writes about this on X with reference to a Ukrainian source.

Earlier, one grain vessel had already been unloaded at the port of Haifa, and the second is now approaching it, despite the protests of Ukraine, Ravid is indignant.

We are talking about the bulk carrier Panormitis under the flag of Panama, which, judging by the data marinetraffic.com , is located about 2 miles from the port of Haifa.

"We are tracking this new vessel and will not leave it without attention. If he is allowed to dock and unload, it will have consequences, especially for our bilateral ties. We reserve the right to apply a full range of diplomatic and international legal measures," the Ukrainian diplomat said.

According to him, Israel "ignored" the Ukrainian objections, and it "looks like a slap in the face."

As EADaily reported, this is the second bulk carrier with grain from Russia. On April 16, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar sent a notification to his Ukrainian counterpart Andrei Sibiga that the Israeli authorities were unable to detain the Russian bulk carrier Abinsk with grain in the port of Haifa, because "the ship has already left the port." Saar expressed regret that the appeal from Ukraine arrived too late, although the Israeli Foreign Ministry knew about the arrival of the vessel two weeks before its mooring.

Then Abinsk delivered to Haifa more than 43 thousand tons of wheat "from the occupied territories of Ukraine" (from the liberated republics of Donbass). In March, Ukrainian intelligence tracked the preparation of the vessel for leaving the Black Sea and handed over the materials to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, and on April 8, a Ukrainian court issued an arrest warrant.
