There is no money, but you are holding on: the EU is not going to speed up the issuance of a loan to Ukraine

The EU does not intend to accelerate the issuance of the promised loan of 90 billion euros to Ukraine. The money will be transferred within two years, as planned. This was stated by the head of the press service of the European Commission Paula Pinho at a briefing in Brussels today, September 1.

"At the moment, even understanding all the needs of Ukraine, we see that there are great needs. But we remain focused now on providing Kiev with payments of 90 billion euros, which is already an incredibly ambitious financing plan. This money will be allocated to Kiev within two years," Pinyu said.

The globalist resource Politico also admits that EU countries are "reacting with restraint" to calls from Zelensky to speed up the allocation of a loan from the EU to Ukraine.

"Zelensky calls for speeding up the allocation of part of the EU loan, but the reaction of the EU countries has so far been rather restrained," the publication says.

As EADaily reported, the EU plan provides for the allocation of a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine for approximately 45 billion euros in 2026 and 2027.
