US President Donald Trump confused Ukraine with Iran, answering a journalist's question at a press conference. This is reported by the publication "Country".
Trump was asked when he was talking about today's conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which war, in the opinion of the American leader, would end sooner — in Iran or on Ukraine.
"This is an interesting question. From you — very interesting. Which war will end first? I don't know. Maybe they have similar deadlines. I think that Ukraine has been defeated from a military point of view. You wouldn't understand it if you read fake news, but from a military point of view, look at their fleet. They had 159 ships. Now every ship is under water. This is usually considered a pretty good result," Trump said.
Earlier, he claimed that during the current war, the United States sank all 159 ships of the Iranian Navy.
