Actor Gesha Menshikov, known for his work in the TV series "Streets of Broken Lanterns", "Secrets of the investigation" and "Major", denied media reports that he lives in a kennel for dogs amid a difficult financial situation. This is reported by the KP St. Petersburg portal.
"I will not allow myself to be made a clown. I live in a beautiful big house, I have a cool dog from the kennel. The publication of such rumors is a matter of jurisdiction, criminal. I will not leave it just like that," said the 60—year-old artist.
Menshikov added that he would file a lawsuit with the media that disseminated this information.
Geshe Menshikov became one of the first famous people who volunteered for a special military operation. He served as part of the BARS‑16 assault squad. After being wounded, he returned home.
As EADaily reported, at the end of April it became known that the son of writer and serviceman Zakhar Prilepin Ignat signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to the zone of a special military operation. He joined the "Relatives" division, which his father had once created. Now Prilepin Jr. is fighting as a stormtrooper on Slavic direction.
