The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an artillery strike on the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP. This is stated in the telegram channel of the station.

It is noted that the blow fell on the transport workshop of the NPP.

"The artillery shelling of the AFU of the station's transport workshop was recorded. As a result, the roof of the building and several buses for transporting personnel were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties, there was no fire. In addition, damage to windows was recorded at the communication section located near the transport workshop, " the report says.

At about the same time, the Raduga substation was attacked by a Ukrainian UAV. The drone was shot down in the air, there was no detonation, there is no destruction, specialists are working on the spot.

The NPP continues to operate normally, the radiation background at the station site and in the observation area is within normal limits.

"This is the second day in a row when the facilities of the Zaporozhye NPP are being shelled. Such attacks pose additional risks to the safety of Europe's largest nuclear power plant and are unacceptable from the point of view of ensuring nuclear and radiation safety," the station administration stressed.

As EADaily reported, Moscow reacted to another attack by Kiev regime troops on employees of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), as a result of which two people were injured.

Mikhail Sheremet, a member of the State Duma Committee on Security, a deputy from Crimea, made his comment on this issue to RIA Novosti.

He appealed to Western countries with a demand to prevent a new Chernobyl, which is becoming more and more real due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on employees of the NPP.
