Belarus will conduct its investigation into the drone attack on the bus on June 17 in the Bryansk region of Russia. This was stated by the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Alexander Volfovich.

According to him, the attacking side probably saw that the bus was transporting civilians. Even if it was difficult to recognize the numbers, it was obvious that this was a civilian facility.

"And what kind of inhuman qualities should the operator have who launched this drone into this peaceful bus. What is there to comment on? Just an inhuman attitude. Therefore, the president has given a number of instructions to figure it out to the end, to conduct his own investigation," he said.

Volfovich stressed that the Investigative Committee and the special services are dealing with these issues. As soon as all objective information is collected, it will be presented to Alexander Lukashenko.

"He keeps this fact under personal, tight control, because it is related to the safety and health of our citizens," Volfovich stressed.

The State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus also touched upon the issues of the trip itself. In his opinion, the organizers and responsible persons should have chosen a safer and calmer route.

"It is necessary to think ten times whether it is worth taking, for what purposes. The President was right to say: there are so many sports facilities on the territory of our country, so many different arenas and opportunities to improve the health of children! Gelendzhik and Krasnodar Krai is a gorgeous, wonderful place, but not the right environment today to take such risks. Therefore, before making any decision, you need to think about what might follow from this," the head of the Belarusian Security Council said.

Recall, on June 17, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus in the Bryansk region, in which a group of children and adults from Belarus were traveling for a summer vacation. The Belarusian citizen Victoria Goroshko died. Several people, including children, were also injured.
