The military strategy of Belarus is not to get involved in the conflict. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the republic Viktor Khrenin.
"There is tension. There are certain provocations. To a greater extent, of course, they sound in the information field in the form of various threats and promises to do something. Here we need to look at the strategy, and our president has clearly defined the strategy: there is no military sense for us to get involved in the conflict (or, as they say, they want to involve us) from the word "at all." Of course, we are watching what is happening. Of course, we keep certain forces at the border, but to a minimum extent — in order to ensure the protection of the state border in cooperation with our border guards," he said.
Viktor Khrenin also stressed that the Belarusian army performs those tasks on its territory in order, first of all, to ensure the tranquility of citizens.
"This is a strategy defined by our president. It also implies the tactics that we have chosen for more than one year. We adhere to this and will continue to adhere to it," the Belarusian minister stressed.
Let us remind you that in recent months Kiev has been escalating the situation in the Belarusian direction. Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky gave Alexander Lukashenko an ultimatum and gave him a week to remove certain repeaters from the border. Otherwise, the head of the Kiev regime promised that Ukraine would "do it on its own."
