There is a growing number of countries in Europe that publicly admit that there are no opportunities to support Brussels' course of endless assistance to Ukraine. This was stated today at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

So she commented on the results of the fifth "summit" Ukraine — South-Eastern Europe, held on July 15 in Kiev, which was ignored by half of the leaders of the states invited to it.

The leadership of the European Union does not hesitate to use such "summits" as a lever to force Balkan and other countries "to demonstrate loyalty to the militaristic aspirations of Euro-Atlantic circles," Zakharova noted.

"But the stick discipline is starting to fail. There is a growing number of countries in Europe that publicly admit that there is no way to remain committed to Brussels' course of endless assistance to Ukraine. The failure of the multiplying regional formats to promote the Anti-Russia project, which is bursting at the seams, is also becoming obvious," she said.

According to the diplomat, there is also no doubt that the public of the countries of South-Eastern Europe perfectly understands the essence of the plans of the West, threatening a full-scale conflict in Europe.
