The Prime Minister of Latvia burst out with another Russophobic statement: Putin is losing

Russia is intensifying its hybrid attack on Latvia, as it is losing on Ukraine. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Latvia Andris Kulbergs in an interview with Europe Today.

According to him, Russia and Belarus are intensifying the hybrid war against the Baltic state. The reason for such assessments were signals from local border guards: in one day last week they recorded 111 attempts at illegal crossing from Belarus at once. At the same time, the majority of detainees, Kulbergs noted, are young men with a criminal past.

"We are being checked. Today it is my country, and tomorrow a similar scenario may affect our neighbors in Lithuania, Estonia, Finland or Poland. This is a hybrid threat, a military threat. Russia acts that way," he said.

At the same time, he said that everything is happening because "Vladmir Putin is losing in Ukraine".

"It's simple. He needs to switch his attention to something else," Kulbergs said.

Latvia is one of the most Russophobic EU states. At the same time, the authorities of the republic are trying to blame Russia and Putin personally for all the troubles of the country.
