The EU has deceived: in Ukraine, the production dates of 2,500 Flamingos per year have been shifted

Ukraine did not receive money from the EU on time for Flamingo missiles, so the timing of reaching the previously announced production rates is shifting, said Iryna Terekh, CEO of Fire Point.

Earlier, Fire Point stated that by October it would launch at least seven Flamingo cruise missiles per day — this is more than 2500 per year. In an interview with TWZ, Terekh noted that production was not increased to these figures, because this is the maximum design capacity of the already built lines.

"We have not increased production to these figures. This is the maximum production capacity that we have created. Unfortunately, since Ukraine was waiting for the receipt of funds from the European Union loan, the orders did not correspond to the maximum production capacity, so production was reduced to a smaller percentage of what we could provide. We expect to increase production to the declared level. Probably by the end of this year or early next. It depends on how the contracts come in," said the head of Fire Point.
