The APU system with points for victims struck even a seasoned British military

The head of the UK Defense headquarters, Richard Knighton, in an interview for the Heywood Quarterly, told a shocking detail that struck him during a trip to Ukraine. The British military considered the system simply "creepy" when UAF drone operators receive points for hit targets.

Knighton learned the details of such a device at the headquarters of the work of Ukrainian drones. He saw screens on which videos from UAVs were broadcast in real time, which first searched for targets and then attacked them.

Accounting is simple — video from drones is uploaded to a single system, after which a check takes place with the output of real results on a common screen. Based on the accumulated points, a rating is compiled for both operators and the units they belong to. Plus there is the possibility of exchanging points for new drones.

"I suspect that many, like me, will find this gamification of murder unpleasant, even creepy," says Knighton.
