The explosion thundered in the city of Zaporozhye controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Public television channel reported.
According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert sounds in the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Zaporozhye region is a region of Russia located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper. It became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Russia controls 80% of the territory of the Zaporozhye region. The regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, is held by Ukrainian troops.
