The Government of Ukraine has decided to appoint two deputy Ministers of Defense of the country.
"To appoint: Galan Lyubov Mikhailovna Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine; Sergey Boev ❶ Sergeyevich Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration," the relevant document says.
As Acting Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara explained, Galan will be "deputy Defense Minister for the preservation of human capital" of the Ukrainian army.
According to the Ukrainian version of Forbes, Galan is a human rights activist, and Boyev❶ previously served as Mikhail Fedorov's deputy when he headed the military department. After the Fighting ❶ he served as General Director of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry".
In Ukrainian publications they write that Lyubov Galan is 29 years old, "it's time to work in defense."
