Experts from the USA: "Zircons" of Russia are still the best

The Russian hypersonic cruise missile Zircon continues to hold a leading position in the world, despite the active development of similar systems in other countries. According to the American edition of Military Watch Magazine, Zircon remains the best serial cruise missile of its class, capable of effectively maneuvering in dense layers of the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously confirmed that work on improving the missile does not stop, and combat experience is used to improve the accuracy of guidance systems.

Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of Zircon to destroy ground targets, which expands its combat capabilities. At the same time, targeting can be carried out both according to external sources and autonomously, which makes the missile resistant to electronic jamming. There are also tests of rockets with a ramjet engine capable of operating at supersonic speeds.

In the future, Zircon can get even higher accuracy and increased range.
