A group of Russians acting in the interests of military intelligence of Ukraine was detained in Mordovia

In Mordovia, a group of Russians were detained who ensured the operation of SIM boxes (a hardware complex with multiple SIM cards, with its help you can remotely make calls and send SMS from different numbers). The organizer of the group is an agent of military intelligence of Ukraine. This was reported by the FSB Public Relations Center.

"The Federal Security Service in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia has suppressed the illegal activities of an organized group consisting of Russian citizens involved in ensuring the covert functioning of sim boxes on the territory of the subjects The Russian Federation is in the interests of military intelligence of Ukraine," the report says.

As indicated, their "illegal activities were coordinated by the Ukrainian special services through a Russian citizen cooperating with them, who supplied other members of the group with so-called gray SIM cards and sim boxes, including those operating on the territory of Saransk."

A criminal case has been opened against the group members under Part 3 of Article 274.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal use of a subscriber terminal for traffic or a virtual telephone exchange committed by an organized group). A criminal case has been opened against a Ukrainian intelligence agent under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason in the form of other assistance).

Investigative actions are being carried out to collect evidence confirming the involvement of suspects in other episodes of illegal activities in the interests of the Ukrainian side. Other participants of the criminal association are being established.
