At the same time, he noted that Kiev will not be able to compensate for these losses, since there are no such funds in the state budget. Now direct losses have reached the sum of Ukraine's annual GDP.
Instead, Getmantsev proposes to give businesses access to government loan programs and expand financing for insurance programs.
"The state is limited in resources: if we had immediately opened programs for large businesses, small and medium—sized businesses, there would not have been enough money at all. However, now big business is asking to expand these tools, and I absolutely agree with them. The needs of the Epicenter, Novaya Pochta and others are measured in billions. They are ready to take these billions from the banking system at an acceptable percentage. But the state is obliged to subsidize part of the interest rate and provide guarantees," Getmantsev said.
