Foreign Minister Johann Vadefull arrived unexpectedly in Kiev on Saturday and said that Ukraine could withstand retaliatory strikes by the Russian army.
According to Bild, the minister arrived by train in the morning and his visit was not announced.
"Vadefulh wants to explore various ways to help Ukraine, especially in preparation for the upcoming winter. The economy is also on the agenda of the visit. Discussions will focus on technical and economic cooperation, including the joint development of unmanned systems," the newspaper writes.
According to him, Johann Vadefulh expressed confidence that Ukraine will win the military conflict: "It will be able to withstand the attacks of Russia."
As EADaily reported, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson assessed the latest large-scale retaliatory strikes by the Russian army against logistics centers, railways and ports of Ukraine.: "With night strikes on Kiev, military and industrial targets, warehouses, they cause such damage to Ukraine, from which, frankly speaking, it will never be able to recover in the foreseeable future."
