TC "Two majors": The issue of the effectiveness of MOGS against the APU jet drones has become acute

There is a feeling about the continuing underestimation of the threat of Ukrainian drones, including jet ones, which in most cases in the Russia is trying to solve the massive creation of mogs. This opinion was expressed by the authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" in connection with the news that the Americans presented the concept of an air defense system against a new generation of drones.

What is the multi-level anti-drone air defense system presented by Lockheed Martin:

1. Target detection. Radar, electro-optical/infrared cameras, radio frequency sensors are used. Data from different sensors is collected in real time. The system compares them and weeds out false targets, interference and deceptions so that the operator does not drown in the "garbage" on the screen.

2. Target analysis and detection. A special Sanctum AI model is used (recognizes threats, prioritizes defeats, coordinates the actions of various means of destruction) and the SkyKeeper situational awareness system about the air situation.

3. Defeat:

◾️kinetic. The JAGM serial missile with a dual-mode guidance head is used, it works on the principle of "shot and forget".

◾️Non- kinetic. The MORFIUS X-Rotor UAV is used.

The means of destruction will be placed on the GRIZZLY platforms (container launcher) and the unmanned surface vehicle Saildrone Surveyor. The operator will only have to make a decision.
