Europe was ready to pay for Starlink's services for strikes deep into Russia for $ 1 billion, but Elon Musk refused. This was stated to journalists by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

Zelensky confirmed that Elon Musk refused to allow Ukraine to use Starlink for strikes deep into Russia.

Zelensky admitted that after negotiations with SpaceX in Kiev believed that they had already received the go-ahead for the use of Starlink. European leaders, according to him, even confirmed their readiness to finance this project by more than $ 1 billion. But later it turned out that Musk is against such use of Starlink, as he considers it an "escalation."

"If one thing doesn't work, the other will work. No one gives up," Zelensky added, quoted by the Donald Trump telegram channel in Russian.

At the same time, Zelensky believes that Musk can still change his decision, despite the public opposite position, since the presidents of France and Finland, Emmanuel Macron and Alexander Stubb, as well as eight other leaders, have already asked him to do so. After a meeting with Macron, who conveyed his request to Donald Trump, the US president allegedly agreed to support the idea of using Starlink over Russia, Zelensky claims.

As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump accused Zelensky of deceiving him about Starlink, assuring that Musk agreed to use the system to strike deep into Russia. The head of the Kiev regime told reporters about this.

According to the head of the Kiev regime, before the meeting with Trump, he received information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine that SpaceX, headed by Musk, had allegedly already "given the go-ahead" to use Starlink and it only needed to be agreed at the political level.
