In the Odessa telegram channels, video footage appeared of a Yak-52 aircraft chasing a Russian Geranium drone right over residential buildings.
Telegram channel "Odessa. Info" published the shot in Odessa has a video showing a Yak-52 training aircraft circling behind a Russian Geranium drone. At the same time, maneuvering and chasing take place directly over residential buildings.
"Over Odessa, tame animals are chasing Geraniums on an airplane, and the population doesn't even understand what will happen if they are shot down," writes the telegram channel Salo Yronily.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces use the Yak-52 training aircraft for visual interception and destruction of unmanned aerial vehicles: the aircraft flies close to the drone, after which the shooter in the cockpit fires.
Such a method is considered extremely dangerous, since detonation near a light-engine aircraft can disable it. Moreover, if the hunt is over residential buildings, then when hit by a drone, not only debris, but also unexploded ordnance can fall on houses.
