Alexander Safonov, who was previously an assistant to Vladimir Zhirinovsky and became famous throughout the country thanks to the meme "Safonov, pay!", died in the SMO zone on August 28. Details are provided by the Telegram channel MASH.

Safonov died in the hospital, where he got after receiving a shrapnel wound. Before his death, he recorded an audio message to his mother.
