Leader of the Ukrainian Radical Party Oleh Lyashko has suggested that the Supreme Rada discuss a bill on impeachment of President Petro Poroshenko.
“The Radical Party faction is ready to vote on constitutional amendments abolishing parliamentary immunity. But at the same time we urge to consider at tomorrow’s session together with the constitutional amendments the bill on interim investigation commissions and a bill on impeachment of the president,” he announced during a meeting of the coordination board at the parliament.
According to Lyashko, the law is needed because there are no real powers for impeaching the Ukrainian president. “Give an answer to my question: who can take to responsibility a person taking the president’s post? No one! Only a Maidan can help,” he concluded.
