"IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, "against the background of events in Russia," given the proximity of hostilities to the current Kursk NPP, expressed readiness to assess the situation and visit the station," the agency's press service told RIA Novosti.
The head of the IAEA also expressed concern about the safety of nuclear power plants, including Zaporozhye, where the agency's mission is currently present.
