Russian bodybuilder and actor Yevgeny Mishin died in Los Angeles at the age of 48. This was announced on his page on the social network by American bodybuilder Dave Palumbo.
"I am very sad to announce that my dear friend Yevgeny Mishin has passed away at the age of 48," Palumbo wrote.
He noted that at the moment the exact cause of death is unknown, but doctors tried to resuscitate the athlete for about 45 minutes.
"It was an honor for me to call him my friend. He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives and friends. Our prayers and love are with him," concluded Palumbo.
Yevgeny Mishin's page on the social network clarifies that the funds for organizing his funeral in New York collected.
Yevgeny Mishin was born in the town of Otradnoye, Leningrad region in 1976. As a teenager, he got into the gym. In 1995 he won the championship of St. Petersburg, in the same year he won the title of Champion of Russia. The highest achievements in PRO bodybuilding: third place at Orlando Pro in 2010 and 2011; participation in the Olympia competitions in 2010-2011. Mishin also actively starred in movies and TV shows.
