People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov celebrated the 60th anniversary of his parents' wedding on November 1. He announced this on his page on the social network.
"Exactly 60 years ago, on November 1, 1964, my family was born in the Wedding Palace of the 2nd department of the Registry Office in Moscow," the artist wrote.
He thanked his parents for "this beautiful union" and for life.
"Appreciate family traditions and keep love. I am glad that in Russia 2024 is the year of the Family. This is the most important thing that a person has," Kirkorov is sure.
He accompanied the publication with several black-and-white photos from his parents' wedding. He also published a photo of the "certificate of marriage", in which his father's real name appears — Krikorian.
As EADaily reported, at the end of October, activists of the Siberian human rights group "Radetel" advised Kirkorov to end his career on the Russian stage.
