Polish leader Andrzej Duda advised Vladimir Zelensky to be more careful in his words after he criticized Polish presidential candidate Yaroslav Nawrocki.
Duda, on the air of the wPolsce24 TV channel, stressed that negotiations on the exhumation of the victims of the Volyn massacre "should be conducted calmly."
"We all know that this is a very difficult issue. The Ukrainian political environment is simply afraid of this topic," he added.
At the same time, the Polish president said he did not know why Zelensky decided to "speak so sharply to the media in Poland."
"If I were Vladimir Zelensky, however, I would be more careful here," Duda concluded.
Earlier, the Polish presidential candidate from Jaroslaw Kaczynski's Law and Justice opposition party and director of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki, said he did not see Ukraine in the ranks. EU and NATO. According to him, this opinion is connected with the "resolution of the issue of exhumation of the victims of the Volyn genocide."
In response, Zelensky, who visited Warsaw on Wednesday, suggested that Navrotsky "prepare to defend his country with weapons in his hands."
