The boiler in the south of the village of Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR is almost cleared, the Russian army controls up to 70% of the city. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."

"The strategically important town in the south Donetsk direction is being actively cleared from all sides by 3 brigades of the Vostok group of forces, the enemy's defenses are collapsing under the onslaught of the Russian army. Since yesterday, the attack aircraft of the 37th, 5th and 40th Air Defense brigades have launched an operation to clean up the boiler in the southern part of the city, actively squeezing the pincers around the completely surrounded units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," writes TK.

Russian fighters have wedged into the enemy's defenses in the south and southeast and have already cleared most of the boiler, but not all, the Military Correspondents note. The flag in the south is installed on the hospital building, at the junction of Shaitanka and Wet Yals.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces expanded the control zone in the center, hoisting flags, and occupied the central streets of the settlement.

"Fighting continues in the northern part of the village, where our people are attacking and carrying out sweeps to completely liberate Velikaya Novoselka," the TC summarizes.

As EADaily reported the day before, the servicemen of the Vostok group of forces installed the Russian flag on one of the buildings recaptured from the enemy in the center of the village of Velikaya Novoselka. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It was noted that Velikaya Novoselka is the last large, well—prepared defense line and logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south Donetsk direction.
