US President Donald Trump expressed hope that Russia would agree to a cease-fire. He told reporters about this near the White House.
"Let's hope that Russia will agree to a ceasefire. We will meet with Russia today and tomorrow," said Trump, quoted by the "Politics of the Country."
If Russia cannot be convinced, the conflict will continue, he noted.
The US president also said that he was ready to invite the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to the White House again.
As EADaily reported, the United States will transfer Ukraine's consent to a ceasefire for 30 days to Russia. He stated this following talks with representatives of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
