Prophetic photo — a few days before the death, US soldiers posed in swamp mud

The United States published a picture of two soldiers who died in Lithuania during the exercises. The photo is already called prophetic.

American soldiers, as is known, died at a training ground near the Lithuanian city of Pabrade when a multi-ton armored personnel carrier sank into a swamp. The picture that was posted in The network of relatives of Sergeant Jose Duanes really causes emotions. In the photo, two servicemen are in swamp mud. One stands waist-deep in muddy water, and the other pretends to swim. There are smiles on their faces.

"Photography does not leave anyone indifferent. It's hard to look at these pictures, probably taken very recently, when you know that these people are no longer with us and they were taken by the swamp. In addition, photos show that similar places were known to this group. They probably trained on something similar, since their armored personnel carrier is also visible in the photos," the American journalists write.

EADaily reminds that the tragedy involving four American soldiers occurred on March 25. They were sent to pull out the stuck equipment, but they did not reach their destination. For some reason, they probably drove off the road and landed in a swamp. The rescue operation lasted several days. The bodies of the soldiers have already been delivered to the USA.
