The United States will not withdraw from the process of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, because this is impossible. This was stated in an interview with DW ❶ advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak.

"It is impossible for the United States to withdraw from participation in the settlement of one of the largest military conflicts of the 21st century, which will determine international rules, rules of relations between countries," Podolyak said, quoted by the DW❶ Main telegram channel.

US President Donald Trump belongs to the category of "dominant" politicians, it would be strange for him to waste time on a strategy that will definitely not lead to success, the adviser explained.

He once again gave a recommendation to the American president about Russia.

"Russia's actions reset Trump's reputation, he still needs to react to it somehow. Otherwise, other countries will say, look, they openly ignore you, and here you want us to react to you in some other way," Podolyak added.
