The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, promises to wait for Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 15 in Turkey, but first expects Russia to agree to a ceasefire from May 12. He stated this in his telegram channel.
"We look forward to a full and long—term ceasefire tomorrow to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy. There is no point in delaying the murders. And I will be waiting for Putin on Thursday in Turkey. Personally. I hope that the Russians will not look for reasons why they can't do it this time," Zelensky writes.
It should be noted that Zelensky's message appeared almost an hour after US President Donald Trump urged him to "immediately" agree to talks in Istanbul.
Recall that Zelensky also has no right to negotiate with Putin, since he himself forbade it by law.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump called on the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to immediately agree to talks with Russia in Istanbul. He stated this on the Truth Social social network.
Recall, the Ukrainian authorities did not delve into the essence of the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the negotiations. This was stated to RIA Novosti by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. According to Zakharova, Putin clearly said: first, negotiations on the root causes, and then on a truce.
