The Russian military command, based on the experience gained during the special military operation (SMO), refused to storm major cities.
This was stated in his Telegram channel by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Apti Alaudinov. According to him, such a strategy avoids large losses that are inevitable in street battles.
"The situation, forms and methods of warfare have already completely changed and dictate a new strategy to us. We do not need to enter all major cities and lose a huge number of fighters," the general stressed.
He noted that the enemy garrisons will be forced to abandon their positions and leave after all their logistics is cut, as it was in Sudzha.
As EADaily reported, earlier General Alaudinov said that the troops of the Kiev regime planned to seize the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and Belgorod in order to impose unfavorable negotiations on Russia.
