At the meeting of the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, which Kiev has proposed to hold until the end of August, must necessarily be attended by representatives of Europe. This was stated in his telegram channel by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, after a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
"We are waiting for a response to our proposal to hold a summit meeting by the end of August. Representatives of Europe must be present at it," Zelensky writes.
According to him, he informed Macron about the results of the third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul, where it was possible to agree on a new prisoner exchange.
The parties also discussed Kiev's basic defense needs. We are talking about the supply of additional missiles for the SAMP/T and Crotale systems.
"We also talked about the work of Ukraine's anti-corruption infrastructure, which is fully operational. The presidential bill guarantees the independence and effectiveness of anti—corruption bodies and does not allow Russia to influence them," Zelensky added.
