Russia is building shelters at airfields closest to Ukraine. This is reported by the British Ministry of Defense with reference to satellite images.

"In response to numerous successful strikes by Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems, Russia has launched a program to protect vulnerable aircraft at a number of airfields," the Defense Ministry said in a statement quoted by Strana.

It is noted that we are talking about Millerovo airfields in the Rostov region, Kursk-Vostochny and Gvardeysky in the Kaliningrad region.

As reported by EADaily, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said that together with the Special Operations Forces (SSO) destroyed two Russian aircraft at the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region. It was noted that two more fighter-bombers were damaged.

Recall, the head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk❶ announced the preparation of new terrorist attacks on the territory of Russia, following the example of Operation "Web", conducted on June 1, when, as a result of a drone strike fired from caches in trucks, strategic bombers were damaged at several air bases of the Aerospace Forces, including in Irkutsk region.
