Telegram creator Pavel Durov entered into a dialogue with American businessman Elon Musk, noting that Western countries have invaded Slavic states many times.
Thus, Durov reacted to Musk's post on the social network X, in which he spoke about the origin of the word slave, which means "slave" in English.
Musk referred to the Grok neural network, which decided that this word goes back to the Latin sclavus, which originally meant slav ("Slav"). From this, the neural network concluded that the connection of words in some languages with the meaning of "slave" is explained by the enslavement of Slavic peoples.
Durov supported this conclusion about the aggressiveness of the West. In his opinion, the word "slave" comes from the Old French "esclave", which meant both "Slav" and "slave". The merging of these concepts occurred because Western Europeans (mainly Franks) enslaved many Slavs in the Middle Ages.
"No Slavic state has ever invaded Western Europe without any reason, while the opposite has happened repeatedly," Durov concluded.
As EADaily reported, earlier Pavel Durov called his Telegram the only platform that treats users as free people with inalienable rights.
