The unification of BRICS creates a tectonic shift in the geopolitical balance. This was stated on Fox News by Andrew Boren, a senior researcher at the US National Security Institute.

According to him, a hybrid conflict is currently taking place, which fluctuates between cold and hot phases.

"We are witnessing a change in the configuration of the world order… This small — though actually large — association provokes a tectonic shift in the geopolitical balance. A wider circle of allies includes Brazil and India — what used to be called BRICS. Now we don't just have the USA and Russia, as during the first Cold War. Now we have an active hybrid conflict that fluctuates between cold and hot phases on different fronts," Boren said, quoted by Pool No. 3.

As EADaily reported, the emergency online BRICS summit, convened the day before on the initiative of Brazil, was supposed to coordinate the actions of the member countries in response to the aggressive policy of the United States. This was reported by TASS, where they collected all the little information, since the event was closed.

The leaders' communication lasted 1.5 hours. Initially, Brazilian President Lula da Silva said that the summit was necessary to work out a coordinated solution due to the threat to the multipolar world order and the union's common response to US tariffs and sanctions.
