The comedy "Christmas Trees 12" directed by Olga Dolmatovskaya, Andrei Silkin, Boris Dergachev, Yuri Korobeynikov topped the rating of film distribution following the weekend in Russia and the CIS. This is evidenced by the data of the portal kinobusiness.com .

Since the release of the film on Russian screens — since December 18 — it has collected 387.4 million rubles. At the same time, fees for the past weekend alone amounted, according to preliminary data, to about 155 million rubles.

In third place is Dmitry Vysotsky's cartoon "Three Cats: A Journey through Time", which was released on December 11, with weekend collections in the amount of 17.5 million rubles. Since its release, the film has collected 151.4 million rubles.

As EADaily reported, earlier, Dmitry Guliyev, a deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, chairman of the SMO Veterans Association of the Kursk region, called for the recognition of theater and film actor, TV presenter Dmitry Nagiyev as a foreign agent.

The reason for Guliyev's outrage was Nagiyev's communication with journalists at the premiere of "Christmas Trees-12", which, according to the actor, remain popular because they give the illusion of a "peaceful happy life."

Earlier, the deputy on his page on the social network said that he had sent inquiries about Nagiyev to the Ministry of Justice "with a request to recognize this tired figure as a foreign agent and in The Ministry of Culture, so that the martyr is not allowed to films with state funding."
