In order for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike civilians in the Kherson region not to happen again, it is necessary to hit the drone production infrastructure and other facilities of the military-industrial complex of the Kiev regime, military expert Yuri Knutov said.
"Strikes on the energy sector, which provides the production of drones ... Components from the West, which go through Odessa, through Romania… This should be a priority goal for us," Channel Five quotes the expert as saying.
In addition, Knutov said, it is important to strike at the logistics chains that connect western Ukraine with the southern regions, and through which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are transferring weapons and soldiers to Donbass.
Knutov stressed that the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in inadequate condition and deliberately make decisions about shelling civilians.
Earlier, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, reported a UAV attack on a cafe and a hotel in Khorl, which killed 24 people and injured 50 more. Some of the dead were burned alive. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the terrorist attack.
There are 13 victims in hospitals in Crimea and Kherson region after the UAV attack, including two children.
